Are you a parent or family member of a child with a disability or special healthcare need? Are you looking for part-time work where you can give back and support families on similar journeys while expanding your own knowledge? This might be a great opportunity for you!
The primary responsibilities of the Parent Partner include providing one-on-one assistance and guidance on educational and health-related issues to families of children with disabilities and/or special healthcare needs and to work closely with the staff at the Developmental Neurology Clinic at the Center for Advanced Pediatrics (CAP) at North Druid Hills (1400 Tullie Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30329). Requirements:
A part-time position is available, 20 hours a week and 12 months a year. Work schedule will require the Parent Partner to be onsite at the Developmental Neurology Clinic during clinic days (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8am – 5pm). Pay is $16 per hour.
Interested candidates should include a cover letter detailing their experience of being a parent/family member of an individual with a disability or supporting families of children with special health care needs.
