Parent to Parent of Georgia Awarded Meadows New Foundation Grant to Expand Outreach and Support

December 11 2025

December 1, 2025 — Parent to Parent of Georgia (P2PGA) is proud to announce it has been awarded a grant from The Meadows New Foundation (MNF), a philanthropic organization dedicated to strengthening communities and improving outcomes for children and families. The foundation serves Toombs, Wheeler, and Montgomery counties. This investment will reinforce P2PGA’s ability to support thousands of Georgia families who are raising children and young adults with disabilities or special healthcare needs.

“Families in rural areas often navigate disability with fewer support networks and less access to information,” said Latoya Palmer-Addy, CEO of Parent to Parent of Georgia. “This grant allows us to meet families where they are in Toombs, Wheeler, and Montgomery counties—offering connection, understanding, and guidance at the moment they need it most.”

Through this grant, Parent to Parent of Georgia will:
• Conduct targeted outreach to families, schools, service providers, and community partners.
• Strengthen individual connections between parents and trained Supporting Parents.
• Offer accessible local resources and training on education, healthcare, and service navigation.
• Provide culturally and geographically responsive support to ensure families receive guidance that reflects their community’s needs.
