Parent to Parent’s comprehensive resource database contains close to 7000 resources in over 200 categories. The Special Needs Database is a user-friendly, online searchable resource available to individuals with disabilities, their families, and professionals throughout Georgia.

Funding from the Georgia Department of Public Health, Part C/Babies Can’t Wait program, support services provided by the Special Needs Database. The purpose of the Special Needs Database is to serve as a statewide resource for families, providers, and other interested groups or individuals to access an array of information and referral services, in accordance with Part C Regulations, 34 CFR , Section 303.17, of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
The Center for Leadership in Disability (CLD) at Georgia State University is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to implement the Georgia Statewide Disability & Health Program. Through this program, CLD is offering a disability-focused training for healthcare providers in Georgia. CLD is partnering with Parent to Parent of Georgia to ensure that the providers who complete this training are included in this directory

There are over 200 searchable categories. These include doctors, therapists, dentists, child care centers, respite care providers, legal advocates, support groups, camps, vocational services and medical supply and equipment providers.
