Parent to Parent of Georgia Names Brook Kubik Director of Programs

ATLANTA (September 8, 2026) — Parent to Parent of Georgia, a statewide nonprofit supporting Georgia families and individuals from birth to age 26 who are impacted by disabilities or special health care needs, has named disability public policy professional Brook Kubik as its new director of programs.
In her new role, Kubik will lead the organization’s state and national programs, overseeing work tied to federal grants, state contracts, training initiatives and strategic partnerships. She will focus on program innovation, quality improvement and staff development.
Kubik brings experience spanning public policy, education, public health, disability advocacy and nonprofit leadership. Prior to joining Parent to Parent of Georgia, she served on the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities, including its executive and public policy committees. She later worked as a public policy consultant focused on Medicaid, home- and community-based services, special education, workforce issues and disability policy.

Kubik is a graduate of the Georgia Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (GaLEND) program at Georgia State University and the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) Leadership Academy, which prepares leaders committed to systems change and strengthening disability networks. She holds an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master of Science in Chemistry, a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Certificate in Public Health.
As a parent of five children, four of whom have disabilities and complex health care needs, Kubik also brings lived experience to her work supporting families seeking medical, educational and community-based resources.
