Parent to Parent of Georgia Receives 2026 H.O.P.E. Award from U.S. Congressman Hank Johnson

ATLANTA (August 31, 2026) — Parent to Parent of Georgia, a statewide nonprofit that supports Georgia families and individuals from birth to age 26 who are impacted by disabilities or special health care needs, received the 2026 H.O.P.E. Award from Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) during an Aug. 22 ceremony dinner at the Lou Walker Senior Center in Lithonia, Ga.

The H.O.P.E. Awards (Helping Other People Elevate) are presented each year as part of Congressman Johnson’s annual Week of H.O.P.E., which centers around National Nonprofit Day and recognizes nonprofit organizations, leaders and volunteers working to improve the lives of residents throughout Georgia’s Fourth Congressional District, with a particular emphasis on children.
