May 10 2019

(originally offered 7/29/16)

Presenter: Ilias Savakis, Protection and Advocacy for Voting Access (PAVA)

The right to vote is one of the most cherished rights of citizenship in the United States. If people with disabilities voted at the same rate as people without disabilities, there would be more than three million people with disabilities voting. Are you a person with a disability or a family member of a person with a disability and have thought about voting but weren’t sure how to register? Join Ilias Savakis, Protection and Advocacy for Voting Access (PAVA) Coordinator at the Georgia Advocacy Office for a lunch and learn session regarding voting rights, how to register, resources and options available for voting.

Running time: 46 minutes and 35 seconds

(For project evaluation purposes, Parent to Parent of Georgia may email webinar viewers a brief follow-up survey in 3-6 months.)
